The Living Inclusion Network is a place for exchange on putting disability inclusion into practice in development cooperation projects. Our goal is to bridge the gap between development cooperation and inclusion and increase disability mainstreaming activities in development projects worldwide. Disability Inclusion is not an option – it is a human right! 187 countries worldwide and the European Union have ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and yet there is still so much to be done.
We aim to foster disability inclusion globally through networking, collaborating, exchange and mutual learning. The Living Inclusion Network was initiated in December 2023 and is managed by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
