For two decades, the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD) has set the space for disability inclusion worldwide. It redefines participation by anchoring the full and effective involvement of persons with disabilities at the centre of its framework – most notably in its general principles (e.g., Article 3) and throughout the Convention.
